My art practice uses ready-made objects such as soft toys, cotton to construct brightly colored and playful installations. I aim to use characters, and colors that are bright and have a resemblance to childhood memories in order to communicate happiness to the viewer. The work I am currently developing extends from this exploring utopia through space, and objects. My recent work involves a collection of more than 100 soft toys that I have been using to develop a different narrative. These installations aim to express the idea of utopia is looks like everything is ideal, and glorious but it is full of unstable feeling. It’s close to us; yet sometimes is very far. It’s reality; yet sometimes seems like a dream.
